Our members have been busy helping others in many different ways throughout the duration of the pandemic. Whether you’ve been busy making masks, shopping for masks for others, making meals, picking up groceries or other much needed items, donating money to charities, sending cards or just showing that you care by reaching out to call someone or check on a neighbor… You are making a difference! Let’s continue to help others by doing good in our own special ways.
We have contributed $1745 and 557 lbs. of food to the SJ Dream Center so far. Some of this is also from my family and friends. I will be at the library each Wednesday at 12 for anyone who has donations. Please call first to confirm the time.
Peg S. distributed flyers with her granddaughters saying she’d pick up food donations for the SJ Dream Center this week!
Chris & Charlie T. have been making lunches and dinners for Seeds of Hope in Camden. They would welcome donations of 16 oz. bottled water, granola bars, small bags of chips, and Arnold country white bread.
Nancy B. is collecting food donations as well. Throughout the summer she will be collecting UNEXPIRED canned goods for the Colonial Manor Food Pantry located in West Deptford. Place items in the green bin on her front porch. Contact-free drop off. Text, e-mail or see club member address list for her address.
Lots of options to help others… lots of people needing our help!
