A huge thank-you to everyone for the great success of our basket raffle. We don’t have the final numbers yet, but We’re sure we made a wonderful profit to fund all our work and donations for the coming year!
We just wanted to single out two of our committee members who went over and above in their efforts for the event. Sue N. handled all the tickets and the details with the venue. So much work! Thanks, Sue! And Peg S. took care of almost all of the baskets, wrapping, making bows, and filling her living room and dining room with stored baskets! Thank you, Peg!
Another shout out goes to the ladies that staffed our tables. Instead of playing and having fun, they sold raffle tickets, took money and tickets, and made change. Thanks so much, workers! And thanks, April, for being our voice at the event, plus for all the work you did behind the scenes, getting the licenses, making signs, making sure we had enough of the right kinds of tickets. So very much help!
Looking at our club list, we don’t think we had a single member who didn’t contribute in some way… donating baskets, wrapping & storing, getting business donations, ordering supplies, selling tickets, and attending the event. You are all just incredible!
So once we know the total profit, we will let you all know. But for today, just relax if you can and pat yourselves on the backs! We couldn’t have done this without every single one of you!
