Can you believe that we are less than one month away from our biggest fundraiser of the year? Thank you to everyone who purchased and paid for their seats to attend our event. This has been very helpful to Sue as now she can start putting table lists together. This is the final reminder to pay for your seats by our meeting in October if you plan on attending our event. We need to adhere to a deadline to get everything done. The last day for purchasing your seats is October 15th.
Our baskets for this year’s event are amazing!!!!! We have 56 and they are wonderful. If you have not dropped off your basket donation, please do so as soon as you can. Again, our deadline is October 15th for basket drop off. However, you must reach out to Sue by October 9th with the name of your basket as our program goes to the printer on the 10th. Once the program is at the printer, it cannot be changed.
Also, if you were able to get a sponsor for our event, it is equally important to get the name of the sponsor by the 9th so that they can be included in our program. Again, once the program is sent to the printer on the 10th, no changes.
Our deadline for seats is the day after our meeting in case we have members who cannot attend.
I personally want to thank all of you for all the work you are doing to help make this event a success. This fundraiser is going to be a success because we are all involved.
As a reminder, on the day of the raffle, please wear your purple club shirt if you have one. We are asking all club members to arrive at least a half hour before we open the doors so we can take a group picture.

Dear members,
Summer is coming to a close and our schedules will be getting busy again. Our Basket Raffle is coming along really well.
As of this writing we have 114 seats confirmed and paid with more forms coming in daily. I know several tables are being reserved, so get your form and payments to Sue N. as soon as you can. Seat sales are picking up now that September is here and I want all of you to get your seats.
I have seen some of the baskets to be raffled and they are amazing and very impressive. Sue N. has started a Google doc with the names of the baskets that were sent to her. If you did not send her your basket theme name, please do so as soon as you can. She needs this information for our program.
Speaking of baskets, if you have all your items and have not wrapped yet, Peg S. is collecting all unwrapped baskets now. She has a few ladies who will be helping her wrap them and get them ready.
If your baskets are wrapped, those baskets will start being collected on September 15th. Please reach out to Peg S., Peggy G., Pixie, Karen H. and Jan A. for dropoff. Any of those ladies will be collecting after the 15th.
Our Mystery Bags items are bought, bagged and ready. Our Super Basket is amazing! A $500 gift certificate to the Queen Victoria Bed and Breakfast, a $100 gift certificate to the Ugly Mug, two t-shirts, two beach towels, car magnet, key chain, two coffee mugs, ornament, and Bayberry soaps from the Queen Victoria as well. All in an adorable Cape May Beach tote. This is going to be a very popular Super Basket.
At our last Basket Raffle Zoom meeting, we went over all of the jobs that needed to be filled and I will give a report on everything at our September meeting.
This is going to be a very successful event because of all of you!

Dear Club Sisters,
We are online and ready to go! Start preparing your raffle baskets and sell those tickets!
We had a great Zoom meeting on Wednesday, May 28th and got so much accomplished. All jobs have been filled and we have had so many ladies continue to volunteer where needed. Don’t worry…we will have a job for you. J
Sue N. has already sent out the updated information for ticket sales, donations, volunteer sheet and more. She has made sure that you have everything you need as we prepare for our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Also…a big shout out to the six ladies who donated $50 each to our Mystery Bag raffle…thank you Nancy D., Barb O., Karen H., Chris T., Cynthia HB. and Jan A. What an absolutely great group of ladies we have in the Woman’s Club of West Deptford!
