The Social Committee has been working on activities for this year. Some activities will be the same as past years and others will be new ideas.

Bonsal Blues September 14
On September 14th at 7pm join the Bonsal Blues Band for a Friends and Family free concert at the American Legion Post #133 at 1018 Washington Ave. Woodbury. The band will be dedicating a new sign for the post and will play a couple of songs in front of the building and then move inside to the hall at the back of the building to entertain us. There is parking along the railroad tracks, and limited parking at the back of the building that you can access from Evergreen Ave. The entrance to the hall is at the back of the building. After the concert, if you are so inclined we can go to the Colonial Diner for coffee and dessert. RSVP to lindagfwc@

Appetizer & Dessert Night September 24
On September 24th at 6PM we will have an Appetizer and Dessert Night at St. Paul’s Church.
Please bring your favorite appetizer or dessert to share with your club sisters. Also, if you would like to share your recipe, bring a copy that others can take a picture of.
This will be a great way for us to socialize and get to know each other. Please RSVP to lindagfwc@gmail.com by September 14th. I will then send out an email to everyone who is attending and you can let us know what you will be contributing.
Book Club
Meeting on Zoom, Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 at 7:00pm. We will be discussing the book The Correspondent by Virginia Evans If interested in attending, let Jody know by Mon. October 5th.
