GFWC National Day of Service

Goal: Reduce Food Insecurity

For our day of service on September 28th, we are again collecting food for the local food banks: Colonial Manor Methodist Church and the Dream Center.

Items most requested are: complete pancake mix, pancake syrup, cereal, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, and canned tuna and chicken.

Donations for the church can dropped off at Nancy B.’s house. Donations for the Dream Center can be dropped off at Cynthia’s or Peg S.’s houses. If you are unable to drop off items bring them to the September meeting or
contact Linda Clark to help with that.

Cynthia H-B. has been our point person for the Dream Center. She says: “Pixie O. has done a great job collecting food over the summer: 198 lbs. since June! Please drop your food donations at my house or Peg’s, or call Pixie and she will pick them up!”

Thanks, Cynthia, for your boundless enthusiasm for helping the Dream Center!
