Spring Conference
The Garden District Spring Conference on April 17th was held at the Pennsauken Country Club. Eleven of our members attended. We enjoyed a delicious lunch. Awards were given to Sharon Hink-grand prize: crewel, baby blanket, baby dress; Joann Keefe: grand prize: Crochet clown; Kim Van Zoeren-Czoch-grand prize: strawberry/lime jam, 3rd place: photo (natural wonder); April Maska-grand prize: crochet adult hat; Chris Taylor- grand prize photo: dragonfly, 2nd place photo: penguins; Denise Hosier-3rd place advance paper craft-card; Jody Harris-2nd place photo-reflections
Card Making
We had our Spring Card Making project at Denise Hosier’s home on April 23, 2025. 16 members attended. Fun was had by all once again. New member Susan Combs came and made 6 beautiful cards. We made over 100 cards which will be given to the patients at Atlas Long Term Care facility in West Deptford.
Our thanks to Denise H. for once again hosting and preparing for this activity. It’s always so much fun and is interesting to see each member’s creativity.
