October brings cooler weather and the colors of fall. Our wonderful club volunteers represented the GFWC Woman’s Club of West Deptford at the WD Family Fun Day held at RiverWinds. Club literature and Bingo flyers were provided along with various mums of different colors to pick from and purchase. We were visible and recognized by our WD community. Many thanks to Carol F, Elaine, Janice, Kim, Carol M, Linda M, Robin, Dorothy, Tannis, Doris, and Nancy B for your time and help that day to transport mums, set up, sell, and clean up at our assigned area.
Our fall mum fundraiser added $ 266.00 to our operating account. Twenty-five mums were sold on WD Family Fun Day with one hundred and eight mum orders sold by our club members. Thanks to all who helped to make this fundraiser so very successful.
