What a wonderful morning we had walking/riding in the West Deptford Memorial Day Parade. We had 20 members participating wearing our club shirts or decked out in red/white/blue as we represented our club.
The cheers and comments from the crowds were so welcoming and we delighted dozens of children with sweet treats.
A huge thank you to Carol D. for securing a wagon for our club members who rode and for getting Jay Walker to pull our wagon with his truck. He was terrific following the walkers and made sure we were all safe throughout the three-mile parade route.
We participated in the wreath laying ceremony for our lost military members and even beat the rain.
We will definitely be participating next year and hope even more of our members will be able to join us on the parade route.
Thank you to all that came out to represent our club. You all are incredible ladies. You totally rock!
