Dear Club Members,
The Memorial Day Parade is coming and we are in the lineup. We will meet on Monday, May 25th on Colonial Avenue by 9:30 am. Step off is at 10:00 am. We have secured the wagon again this year so our members may choose between walking or riding.
I have one weather-proof wreath for the dedication at the battlefield and I am looking at another one. We will need candy for the parade route and I have the bags for our members to carry the candy in.
Our purple shirts are the uniform of the day so that the township community will know who we are.
We will need to coordinate cars at the beginning of the parade route and the end of the parade route at the battlefield. We can do that as soon as we know who is going to participate.
As the date gets closer, I’ll update you with any specifics. So put the parade on your calendar and join us before you fire up those grills for the first BBQ of the season.
