We Are in Motion
The volunteers for Red Bank School will begin the week of October 5, 2026. We have upped our immune system and taken our vitamins and are ready.
The Oakview volunteers will begin the week of October 12, 2026. Carol and I are so happy and excited to have all our volunteers return ~ I guess that is where the Happy Hearts come in.
To the New Members of our Club
I would like to share with you what we do. The program is a volunteer program in the Elementary schools (Grade 1 and Grade 2) in West Deptford. We volunteer two days a month for approximately 2-4 hours a week.
The word that is important is volunteer. We do not teach or manage the classroom. We are there to support the teacher.
Each teacher has their own idea of what we would be doing for her. Sometimes we play games, sometimes we read, sometimes we cut things out and organize projects ~ I guess that is where the Helping Hands come in.
Our Goal
To develop a relationship with the levels Grade One and Grade Two in West Deptford Township School District. Our purpose would be to support, encourage, and build confidence in our children.
If you feel you might want to join us, please let me know. You can call me, My information is on the membership list ~ Sandy Mastrangelo, or see me or Carol Dechen at our regular meeting,
