“A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
Welcoming Spring
Spring cannot come soon enough! I am sure we are all ready for an end to the snow and cold weather. I look forward to seeing the crocuses and daffodils emerge, bringing with them a sense of renewed energy. As the temperatures warm, our community will come alive again, with neighbors stepping outside to enjoy the sunshine instead of shoveling snow and wearing heavy coats and boots.
Club Activities in March
March is always a busy month for the club. During this time, we vote on how to allocate our charitable funds, review our bylaws for any possible changes, and begin planning for the new term ahead. At our upcoming March meeting, we will also hold the bi-annual installation of new members. I encourage everyone to attend and show support for the new ladies joining our group. Welcoming new members brings fresh ideas and approaches that strengthen our community.
NJSFWC Convention in Atlantic City
The convention is right around the corner, taking place May 4-6. We have a few members attending either the entire convention or just for one or two days. If you are considering going, you will have plenty of club sisters there with you, and remember, you can participate for just one day if that works best for you! Reach out to me directly for pricing and hotel information.

The evening dinners are a time for fellowship with your club members and/or members from other clubs across the state. The speakers are both wonderful and inspiring. Dinners are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night if you wish to partake. There is a cost for each.
As a side note: Any winners from the Spring Arts District Meeting should plan to get their items to the Convention by Monday morning. Kim VZC has graciously once again offered to transport smaller items. If you have art that is heavy or large, please make other arrangements, as Kim is just one person, and it can take several trips to her car.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the March General Meeting.
In Federation friendship,
Janice
