In March, our membership successfully held a diaper and wipes drive to benefit “Wheels of Change” in West Deptford. I am pleased to report that we delivered an in-kind donation valued at $434.00 to the charity (see photo below). Thank you to everyone who contributed!
As we move into April, we have several important initiatives underway:
Child Abuse Prevention Month
In observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month this April, we will be “planting” a pinwheel garden at the County Child Advocacy Center in Woodbury to raise awareness.
Please wear blue to our April meeting, to show support for this important initiative.
Crayon Recycling Project
We are continuing our partnership with The Crayon Initiative. Please bring your used and broken crayons to our upcoming meetings. These will be
recycled into new crayons and distributed to children in hospitals.
Ronald McDonald House
We are still collecting soda tabs for RMH South Jersey. Please bring your collected tabs to our meetings so we can provide them to the house for their recycling program.
