Ready and waiting to be delivered are ninety elementary “teacher appreciation” cards that were crafted by our members in preparation for when schools reopen with in-class instruction this November. The thank you “Cards for Kindness ” will be given to each elementary school teacher with our sentiments as they work to educate the children in our community. Our goal is to lift the spirits and show both support and appreciation of the educational process.
Thank you to the “art team” that glued together and assembled the front cover of each card. Our helpers were Peg S., Denise P., Elaine, Denise H., Isabella, Peggy G., and Linda J. Many thanks and appreciation to those who so generously gave their time and effort to help.
We can’t wait to give them to each of the three elementary schools in our community!
