January Paint Night

The red cardinal has long been held as a spiritual messenger across many cultures between the Spirit and Earth. Cardinal sightings can bring you a feeling of peace; plus the cardinal protects and guides you. Red cardinals do not migrate away for the winter. They stay to sing songs during frosty cold winter days. They represent warmth and energy. They remind us to stay strong and positive throughout difficult periods in our life. They help us remember those who were once in our lives, our loved ones.

Art teacher Gina H. welcomed eight of our members to the studio in her home. She had a tracer for the cardinal and some subtle glitter added a little shine to the snow.

The winter cardinal paint and sip night was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.  We had fun using tempra paints on canvas and socializing with various snacks and beverages. Eight ladies have a beautiful painting to display for the next several cold months.

Now we have requests for another future paint night, perhaps in the fall.
