Sweatsuits for Children of CASA NJ

CASA-NJ is our Special State Project. It stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and provides a voice for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courts and in the community.

In January we collected sweatshirts and sweatpants for the children.
According to my contact from CASA-NJ, Michele Musick, clothes for toddlers to 21 years of age—boys, girls, young men, and young women—are all in need.

We collected 25 sweatshirts and 6 sweatpants in all, valued at a total of $420. Great job by our members!

This is a district collection by all clubs in the Garden District.

If you would rather just make a donation for this organization, each month there will be a collection box for our Special State Project.

At our December meeting we collected $120.00 in Gift Cards for the children of CASA-NJ. The Gift Cards were greatly appreciated and given to the children for holiday gifts.

Thank you for your continued support.
